It is an honour to announce the release of the fourth episode in our Whakapuāwai Podcast Series, featuring a kōrero with Joanne Hakaraia (Ngāti Raukawa me Ngāti Whakaue). As a Rongoā Māori healer, Joanne has dedicated nearly 20 years to healing, serving thousands of clients in Aotearoa and globally. Joanne possesses the unique ability to intuitively read energy patterns and tohu (signs and symbols), interpreting the movements and messages of the environment.

Joanne works with plant medicine, primarily connecting with the mauri or Spirit of the plant, and she does not need to be in physical contact with the plant or the receiver to facilitate healing. Over the years, Joanne, in collaboration with the plant kingdom, has cultivated her apothecary of plant medicine, making it available to everyone.
