Dr Jane Kitson takes part in the customary harvest of tītī and is a member of the Rakiura Tītī Island Administering Body (RTIAB), which governs tītī harvest management.

Jane’s seminar will revisit her research from almost two decades ago on the indigenous resource management of the harvests and how this guides looking after the islands, including the mechanisms for cultural knowledge transfer, to sustain the birds, island and culture.
