It is an honour to announce the release of the seventh episode in our Whakapuāwai Podcast Series, featuring a kōrero with Professor Maria Bargh (Te Arawa & Ngāti Awa).
Maria is a Professor of Politics and Māori Studies at Te Herenga Waka: Victoria University of Wellington. Her research interests focus on Māori politics, including constitutional change and Māori representation, voting in local and general elections, and the Māori resource management economy, including renewable energy, freshwater, mining, and biodiversity. She has also written about hidden and diverse economies, such as Māori involvement in the private military industry.
