Deanna Haami

Deanna is an Assistant Lecturer and PhD student affiliated with the Centre for Indigenous Psychologies. She has also assisted on various research projects within the CIP.

Her PhD research is focused on exploring the origins of intergenerational trauma within her whānau and whakapapa. She is also interested in researching the areas of wairuatanga (spirituality), with a specific focus on privileging wairua within the research process.
